Tommy Jackett, yes that’s my name. Chances are you’ll find me with a smile on my face and a camera in my hand. I’m a filmmaker, a podcaster, storyteller, husband, and father. I’ve been immersed in content creation for over 10 years and absolutely love it. Over the last 3 years, I’ve been working with brands to help them understand, capture and share their stories through video. I’m a craftsman. I shoot, I edit, I understand the audience. Back in 2013, I spent 2 years hosting a breakfast radio show in a town called Shepparton. I learned a lot about myself, having to create 15 hours of radio per week. The challenge of ideation at scale and the requirement to entertain, inform and evoke emotion consistently, has changed the lens through which I view the world. A quick search in google, you’ll see the zeitgeist-y moments I’ve observed and captured over the years that have spread throughout the media. I like to think my sense of curiosity, fun, and willingness to put myself out there echoes throughout my work.
